Good Pets are Nice to Have Around
I am very generous. I share my bed with my pet humans. Myst and I will have a long chase and pounce, er, discussion about how to share this bed amongst ourselves later, but my humans are always welcome on my bed. They can be quite amusing.

Pets are good to warm up spots on the bed or the couch for us.

I think what your human meant to say was that he was allowed to share "your" bed. What a beautiful kitty!
