Harley had to have a series of five Depo-Medrol shots over about 5 months when his eosinophilic granuloma complex (which is also an autoimmune problem) was at it's worst. He is finally doing so much better, and he just gets a short course of prednisone when he starts to get a lip ulcer.
Oh no, shots (and blood work) are what my Bandit hates most. *Even more* than vets. Poor Muddy, hope it didn't hurt too much. Bandit says he's right with you, brother!
Thank you so much for the kind comments and support. You are wonderful. I hope your humans take superb care of you. I do have a chronic disease called triaditis, but so far, so good. I have to swallow a pill everyday that Richard is good at giving. My liver checked out well and this problem might clear up with the one shot. We are hoping so.
Ohh thats really sad news, but can you tell me what is auto immune shot, i also have 2 cats and i always worry about them so that i can also get idea about there health. villa bali
That doesn't sound like too much fun. Is everything going to be okay?
ReplyDeleteHope your check-up turned out okay otherwise!
ReplyDeleteWe think it's not serious and the vet believes this steroid shot will fix it. Thank-you for asking.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to know that the vet thinks the shot will fix it. I've been looking for updates.

ReplyDeleteVets is not nice, are they Muddy? Hope the shot makes everything start to get better soon...
ReplyDeleteAre vets any more scary in the USA? They frighten the tabby coat off me here in England!
Best wishes
