Just Doin' My Job

Richard found a dead mouse in the middle of the floor and two very smug cats walking around the house. I suppose that says it all. Cats on patrol.

I Love Bugs

Mostly I love to hit them and eat them. There seems to be a lot this year, though not enough. Moths used to hit the windows and these days, they rarely do, alas.

Don't Go Out There, Humans!

The world is nice outside although both Myst and myself, do not think anyone should be out there and get quite upset when we see our pet human out there.

Watching Myst Make a Closet Check

I was watching Myst make his daily rounds to check on his special hiding places. He checks the closets and makes sure each one is cracked open just wide enough for him to go in and hide.

If a closet door is closed, he goes and speaks to the humans until they follow him to the closet where he sits expectantly until the door is cracked open, then he moves on. All he wants is a bunch of available dark hiding places, I think.

I stuck my head inside a door and could not find anything special about it. I don't get this hiding stuff. I prefer to plop down in the middle of things.

Myst is on MY BED!

Hey, Myst, that is MY bed! (Needless to say, this soon became a chase scene.)

Boxed In

Just hanging out in a box. Dunno why humans point those things at us and say AREN'T YOU CUTE.

Does This Thing Work?

We both like to play in the bathtub but only when its dry. I will never understand why humans like to sit in water.

Sleep

Or maybe I should title this week's pictures "Studies in Sunlight." Nevermind that this is an open doorway and people may want to walk here. I am so relaxed, I know they will carefully step over me.

The Hazy Lazy Days of Summer

There is nothing like sunlight in the whole world. I think I could lie here all day. (Well until dinnertime, that is.)
