Just keeping the table warm so that the dinner doesn't get cold! Only looking out for your best interest, of course. Plus, a little fur-in-food never hurt anybody.
We are allowed on the food table, but not the food counters. Go figure...
Cats loves the kitchen because a lot of food is there. They are sitting everywhere. We don't allow them on the dining table.
The meaning of the word "allow" eludes me.
