We have some animal friends that we exchange cards with. Sasha, a girl Himalayan is my best card friend. Dandelion knows some dogs, though Myst probably would never write a dog!

Terry says this is a constant problem. She gets up for one minute and her chair is commandeered.
It's cold outside and someone has been sleeping on the monitor too soon after eating and getting a little sick so Terry has to limit his time up here.
Seems like more humans are coming and going from the house this week. Myst and I keep our distance from strangers these days (especially little short ones that like to chase us around) but Dandelion will go up to them all, even little children for hugging and holding. We let him get all of that attention and everyone is happy. I am glad he will volunteer for "meeting strangers" duty these days.
This is the best part of Christmas -- playing around in the paper pile! Wishing you and yours a good holiday season.
Myst fluffs out very well. Whenever he hears me getting brushed, he comes into the room and looks very pretty and sweet until our pet humans can no longer resist him. We do a good job of keeping our pets under control. Terry says she has fun doing these pictures. If any of you want a picture like this, send it or a link to me with an email address to return it to.
Due to popular demand, here is one of me. I have sexy blue eyes, Terry says. I do know they come in handy for getting my way around here. Nobody can look as wide-eyed and innocent as me. Terry says they should have named me "Frank Sinatra," but I don't get it.
Terry has too much time on her hands because now she is doing silly pictures of us. Of course, we are never silly, being very serious and proper cats at all times.
We were going about our business as usual when suddenly, we heard it! A THOUSAND black birds landed at our place. Myst and I ran to the door and window. Myst wanted our humans to hurry up and open the door QUICK! He kept pacing back and forth because Terry was not hurrying fast enough. It was an AMAZING sight! Dessert ALL OVER THE YARD!
I suppose that is the picture of utter relaxation. One of Rocky's pet humans came over, the young one, age 1 & 1/2 in human years. Myst wisely stayed on top of the monitor, out of reach. I decide to move to another room and we both let Dandelion get all of the attention because he likes little humans just fine.
We've been chasing each other a LOT. Terry says we must be taking energy pills. Myst did not want her to sleep last night and constantly meowed and jumped in her face. Usually he is so quiet, but she had gone to bed early which was not the routine Myst was used to, so he objected.
We are trying to decide whether or not to play. In this house, it is often just a bunch of noticing each other, before we part ways and go take a nap. This is a before-I-was sick picture and I think both of us just wanted a nap that day.
I am getting my voice back now. Richard was gone on a long trip and when he got back, so did my voice! "Meow! Meow!," I said because I was not happy that he had left and I made sure to tell him. Even though Terry brushed me, it is not like when he brushes me and I missed him.
It's that time of year that we cats get to climb indoor trees. Terry's friend says her two cats are climbing their tree this year which surprised her since they did not climb it last year. Our pet humans put smaller trees on table tops around. We have no desire to climb these trees though I wish it was a real climbing one!
There are lots of leaves right now. Myst especially loves to watch leaves blow by and likes humans to bring one in for him to paw around. The weather is amazingly warm and we even have some green grass, but then this is Alabama.
In the efforts to make sure I eat well, Terry is trying an expensive, fancy brand of catfood treats. Of course, she is careful and does not give me too much and leaves my regular food out, but its working. I like them. Wow, I just love being fattened up. Terry is envious that I am supposed to be gaining weight.
Dandelion gets the best places in the sun, but usually there is enough leftover for me, too. Myst is not big on sleeping in the sun, preferring dark secret places like the chair under the desk. He likes the monitor so much that he gets pretty warm while Dandelion and I are too big and heavy to be comfortable there though we are pretty warm, too.
There is Myst again. Because he sleeps by Terry and her clicking box right where she works, he gets lots of clicks made.
The sun shines so well in our windows in the winter. I can't get enough of these rays. I took my daily trip to the vet to get my medicine and now I am glad to be home. I was brushed so well this morning and Terry was glad to see me actually pouncing on Myst, for a change.
