Today in 1989, Dandelion was born to a calico mother. His siblings were an amazing group. One was short-haired and solid gray, another was a fluffy calico, but nobody looked exactly as he does.
Here is an old picture of him caught in the ungraceful act of yawning. The gray cat in the back is Snappy, his brother. Dandelion grew up to be a wise and good cat, a perfect companion for Jenny who was only 7 at the time. He loves strangers and children. Dandelion is my hero.

My Momma had two dogs that she got when my big brother was 4. He's 21 now and the doggies have gone across the Rainbow Bridge but the kitty cat she got around that time still lives with my big brother. That kitty is old (in a good way) too!
