Good Company

This blanket is very comfortable and I like sleeping here with Richard. Yesterday, there was a terribly loud thunderstorm. Terry says lightning hit right over head and then we heard the sounds of ambulances, police and firetrucks all over the place. (We live near a busy street.)

When the storm is loud, I seek my people and stay with them. Myst will find the deepest darkest place and hide for hours.

A New Sitting Place

Terry put an old sheet up here and sometimes put Myst or me up here. I like it. This is a good place to bathe.

Chopsticks Cat Video

A cute cat video that Terry keeps watching. I think they are not feeding this kitten fast enough. Chopsticks are slow. I would rather bat at the sticks: Chopsticks Kitten

Sleeping

The family laughs at me sleeping in the middle of the floor. Even Myst thinks I am crazy.

I have my reasons: I am ready if anything interesting comes into the kitchen, when my humans talk with each other I can come running and get between them (a favorite pasttime) and the carpet is a comfortable, padded place.

Those Other Cats

Richard and Terry are watching her brother's cats for a few weeks. I do not like this one bit. They came home smelling like an enemy! Nevertheless, I forgave them, but only after a thorough sniff check.

Judging from this photo, they gave a thorough sniff check of their own.

My Own IPad

Terry and Richard walked into the room and found me like this. I figure I can blog from here, saving much trouble in leaning over a hot computer.

The house air-conditioning is completely broken. Workmen are above the ceiling to put in an entirely new system. Terry jokingly says good thing they got an iPad early because there goes any chance for a new car or fancy vacation, or a lot of other things.

Myst and I are terrified. I am glad they locked us in the master bedroom cause Myst loves to hide under the bed in times like these. Me, too.
