We had no electricity all day
Our humans were having our house rewired. It sure was strange here with many humans in the attic, in the garage - all over the place. It was scary, but Terry says the electricity is up to code and backed up with a generator and should never ever go out again.

Not Dead, Merely Fell Asleep Here
I am known for being able to sleep anywhere, plus Terry seems to be playing with her art programs again.

We thank-you for the kind comments and concern
We appreciate your concern. Fifty percent of our utility customers got power back after 5 days. We are one of the lucky ones. We have to conserve energy and water, but we are up and running again.
Myst and I loved those days of both of our humans being home and sitting with us on the sofa. I did NOT like the storms that came before and I ran into the bathroom with them as alarms sounded and tornadoes passed around us very closely. Myst prefers to find a deep dark place when it storms and nobody can find him but the first thing I do is run find my humans and hide out in the bathroom with them. They pet me a lot when we are all stressed and it helps us all.
Our hearts are sad for those who were not unharmed. There is much work to be done to help them.
