Hello! This is the warmest room in the house and its right in Terry's office.

Myst sits on a carpeted board on top of Terry's printer overseeing the work here.

What's Going On Out There?

I hear chirps and leaves and noises out there. I need a closer look.

I love wheelbarrow beds

In the winter, Richard brings the wheelbarrow in from the garden. It's cleaned and lined with blankets and cat beds. I love to sleep in it under the bright windows in the garage. Of course I have complete access to the house whenever I want but in Alabama, the winters are not so bad and the sun is angled just right to shine on me (when its not cloudy like today). I love to sleep here all day in the bright sun.

In Memory of Buzzy

When I first moved here, Buzzy and Dandelion were living here. Dandelion liked me but Buzzy did not really like me. He didn't hate me either, so life was good. I always tried to be friends with him, though. I like every cat.

Both of them lived well into their teens. I will never forget them.

Myst is Bored

Myst does what he usually does when bored: go cry at Terry to do something interesting so he does not have to be bored.

My Super Strategy

Myst was chasing me. I ran and jumped into my super strategic place - the middle of this cat stand. He could not get behind me or above me too well, but he tried.

Myst watched me closely, sitting down and waiting until I jumped out - but I fooled him. I went to sleep. Nobody in this house sleeps more than me.

I waited him out. Eventually, he gave up and left. I won.

Myst is watching Penn & Teller Tell a Lie

It keeps my humans laughing for some reason. Myst particularly enjoyed the wrecking ball scene.

The Door Challenge

http://youtube/FJhSL4d82z0

I was bored, only Terry was awake. I walked the hall, crying loudly so that I could wake everyone else in the house. Then Terry scooped me up and gave me "The Door Challenge."

We play this game often. She closes the door almost all of the way so that it looks completely closed. Being closed inside a room means only one thing: I have to GET OUT FAST. Sometimes I am impatient and claw up the carpet, expecting Terry to let me out - and that can be interesting in itself.

Eventually, I get the door open, though. I am proud of myself - and surprisingly, I am not bored anymore.
