I hate all human food. I only want to sniff my human's food because I am so curious about everything they do. They were eating chicken today and it smelled so much like my moist chicken catfood! I let them know that I wanted to check their food closely.
Terry put a bite on the floor and I ate it. She and Richard were shocked as I ate several more bites. I think my humans' mealtimes will be a lot more fun now.
My name is Myst. I am Muddy's adopted brother and I learned a lot about blogging from growing up with him.

At the vet's. I have been sick and my humans decided I needed to see a vet
For the past 3 days, I have been throwing up more than usual. At first, my humans thought their big closet and shelf cleaning was stirring up too much dust. I like to eat fur and anything I can find on the floor sometimes. They don't use chemicals around me, so they do not think it is chemicals.
They brush me twice a day, faithfully. They hope its not that disease I was diagnosed with years ago but it could be (Triaditis). I take a pill for it every day but Terry knows my lifespan is limited by it. I am about 9 years old now. I eat and have energy so maybe its nothing serious. We are waiting for blood tests right now.
Followup: My tests came out and I am in perfect health, slightly overweight. Nobody knows why I threw up a lot. If I keep it up, they will run even more tests on me. I may not even need a daily Demarine pill anymore, the doctor said. Whew! (Thanks, Dr. Horne!) Now, to get Terry's eyes to stop watering.

Argh! Why can't I use my catdoor? Why are there workmen and noise out there?
Terry says something about "wiring the house to code." I think she means there is good and interesting stuff going on over there. I want to be in the middle of that!!! My curiosity is killing me.
