Too Hot for Monitor Beds

My is only sleeping up there for very short spells now. It's just super hot outside and, as much as he enjoys the attention, he is not looking for warm places to sleep at the moment.

Trying to Look Starved Here

Yes, I sat here and watched Terry eat breakfast. We cats can make a human feel real guilty and stare at them like we are poor, starving, underfed creatures. Terry just gives me that look that says, "Suuuurrrreeee you are starving......."

Emmie & Punkin

Emmie and Punkin's mom was a Katrina cat. They have been adopted by Terry's friend. When she goes over there, she comes back smelling very peculiar. All of us cats have to check her out thoroughly before we let her touch us. What amazes her, she says, is that she washes her hands afterwards, but we can still smell something different on her hands and her clothes. We are just smart, is all.

Resting is Good Here, Too

If you don't feel like chasing the ball, this ring makes a cool place to rest your head and watch the rest of us go crazy.

Sleep

Sleeping next to my pet humans on a rainy day is bliss.

Peculiar Smells

This was taken at a family reunion. Terry came home smelling very very peculiar that day. I would not let her pet me until I had sniffed her over thoroughly.

Saving the Day

Rocky's and Lucky's pet humans have a baby human, one year old. Their baby came over to my house today. Dandelion was sleeping and Myst hid. The baby made loud crying noises, you see. My humans were trying to comfort and calm him down, but nothing worked. Wincing a little from the noise and being the most curious cat in the house, I came over to see what was going on.

Funny, right at that moment, the smaller human stopped crying and pointed to me, "Cat! Cat!" he said. Well, this looked interesting and I wondered if anyone would brush me, so I replied, "Meow! Meow!" I don't understand why that baby changed to all smiles and was trying hard to meow back at me, but now my human adults are smiling too and saying I saved the day.

I suppose saving the day and making humans smile is a good thing, but would somebody please brush me?
